Ingredients to cook Indian-Style Stuffed Bell Peppers

1 cup YOUR Organics Kidney Beans (cooked)

1 cup Jyoti Masala Chai (Tea) (strongly brewed)

1 cup YOUR Ready to Eat Turmeric yellow Rice with Cashew

4 large bell peppers (any color)

1 tablespoon oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish

 

Instructions to cook Indian-Style Stuffed Bell Peppers

1. Prepare the Basmati Supreme: Rinse 1 cup of Basmati Supreme rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a lid, and let the rice simmer for 15 minutes or until fully cooked and fluffy. Set aside. 2. Prepare the YOUR Ready to Eat Turmeric yellow Rice with Cashew: In a separate saucepan, prepare the YOUR Ready to Eat Turmeric yellow Rice with Cashew according to the package instructions. Set aside.

3. Preparing the Bell Peppers: Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Rinse them inside and out.

4. Filling Preparation: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for another minute.

9. Baking Time: Bake the stuffed bell peppers in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bell peppers are tender and cooked through.

10. Serve and Garnish: Remove the foil, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro, and serve your Indian-Style Stuffed Bell Peppers while they are still warm.
