Karhi with vegetables
This is a beautiful soup like dish that can be served as a soup or as aside dish with rice (common Sunday lunch in India).
Sauté one cup of diced vegetables of your choice: Fresh carrots and green beans as shown or, frozen diced carrots and green peas or any other colorful combination of vegetables of your fancy using 1 tbsp butter or two tsp cooking oil. Add contents of one can of JYOTI Jaipur Karhi, add 1/2 cup water and bring to near boil, turn off heat, gently separate the dumplings and serve with rice. To serve as a soup with some crusted bread, use 1 cup of water.
